Our state and community leaders have been rolling out a plan to sytematically return to a more normal way of life. But the RISK IS NOT GONE! We must work cooperatively and in an informed manner to help limit spread of the Corona virus while simultaneously trying to return to normal functioning within our life and the local economy.
Frequent hand washing, wearing of face masks whenever possible in public, social distancing and limiting non-urgent travel are still a must!
Should you become infected with the virus or come into close contact with someone who has the ethical thing to do is to self-quarantine for a standard 14 day duration. Testing has become widely available. It is very accurate for positive test results which confirms an active infection. It is only about 80% accurate in ruling out the disease in the circumstance of a negative test.
We continue to implement the screening questions and policies stated below to keep our employees and patients safe. We encourage all to commit to doing their part following the restrictions and guidelines established by local leaders. Our collective diligence will help prevent unnecessary spikes in spread and facilitate a return to normalcy within our lives.
